Hypertension –  disease of nowadays

Hypertension is the most common cardiac disease in the world. It has been placed in the „metabolic disorders” for a reason. Hypertension is divided into primary and secondary, of which the far greater part of all cases of hypertension is secondary hypertension. Underlying secondary hypertension is the most common unhealthy lifestyle, which in turn leads to overweight / obesity and hypercholesterolemia. Obesity and high cholesterol levels lead to a significant burden on the heart and reduce the flexibility of blood vessels, resulting in a pathological increase in blood pressure. For this reason, treatment of hypertension should be started trying to change eating habits and increased physical activity. Drugs in this area should only have the function of stabilizing blood pressure. However, because of the frequent difficulties associated with changing existing habits and reluctance to exercise (which give results after a longer period of time), patients lose their motivation to work on the improvement of a given set of things.




Effect after several stays at an altitude?

And if the health effects could be noticeable after a few workouts? These capabilities give training at a height of about 2700 meters above sea level, which can be implemented in any room equipped with technology LOXYS. In these areas there is a constant pressure of about 1033 hPa, which is not an additional burden to the patient’s circulatory system. In only about 10-12 sessions, it is possible to reduce weight, lower cholesterol, increase the sensitivity of cells to glucose.

These effects are possible to achieve in such a short time thanks to the adaptive responses of the body to the altitude. Obesity and poor diet lead to higher cholesterol levels and, in extreme cases, to diabetes, factors which induce the emergence of a more pro-inflammatory markers and an increase in the concentration of endothelin-1, to the detriment of nitric oxide. This leads to an increase in blood pressure. In carrying out high-altitude training call the aforementioned increase levels of nitric oxide, which is isolated in large quantities in order to facilitate the reaching of blood to the working tissues, by the dilation of blood vessels, which is associated with decreased blood pressure.
